When was Motion Logistics Network established?

Motion Logistics Network was established in 2014 in Germany. Our headquarters are now based in Bremen, the Hanseatic City in the north of Germany.

Does Motion Logistics Network have a special focus?

Motion was created with the idea of having a community of small to medium-sized freight forwarders who wish to grow their business and expand their services on a global scale. In particular, we specialize in taking in owner managed companies which we believe have a more personal touch towards business relationship building.
Our aim is to connect forwarders around the world for further collaboration, business growth and new opportunities, and offer a place where one can share know-how and connect with like-minded individuals while maximizing revenue.

How does Motion Logistics Network select qualified members?

The quality of our network base is of utmost importance to us, therefore, before admitting a new company, we screen them for professionalism, capability, and reliability by requesting financial information and industry references. In addition, all companies must be at least 2 years old in order to demonstrate their track record.

What is the membership limit per country?

We have a scaled member limit based on the country’s GDP, market developments and demand to assure everyone gets their equal share of cargo.

Is it possible to list multiple locations?

The company can list more than one location, however, there needs to be a fully operational office with a representative.

Where can I find the current member list?

Our member list is available to all members via the member portal. There you will find the profile and contact detailsof each member company. Please reach out to our team at support@motionlogisticsnetwork.com if you need to recover your log indetails.

Is it possible to have a free trial?

To ensure that all the members are active and are contributing to the network, we do not offer free trials. This means that we provide you with a network of excellent members that are not just passively waiting for business to fall into their laps, which sadly happens with a lot of networks.

Does Motion Logistics Network offer marketing services?

Our professional marketing services are available on LinkedIn, as a newsletter and on our website to provide companies with more visibility.

Does Motion Logistics Network have conferences?

We host one main conference annually, online/regional events are possible upon request. The Annual Conference gives each member a chance to meet all the decision makers under one roof for high-quality networking that results in increased business opportunities.

Why should I attend the conference?

The conference helps you to get to know our members in person and ultimately gain more business. During the event, you will get to know the other members in a productive and fun way and have the chance to learn about their business and culture. It is the perfect stage to find out what being part of the Motion family really means and will set the foundation for growing business between members going forward.

Is it mandatory for members to attend the conference?

We strongly encourage all members to attend each Annual Conference since there are always new members that you can meet. Moreover, logistics is a peoples’ business, and building strong relationships sometimes may take more than one meeting. Members who do not attend two years in a row will be subject to benching.
