Boatsman Logistic GmbH, a member of the Motion Logistics Network representing Germany, recently received a special invitation to take part in a prestigious industry event hosted by global logistics giant DHL. The occasion marked the grand opening of DHL’s new 24,500-square-meter air freight terminal at Frankfurt Airport’s cargo hub.
Out of approximately 100 invited companies, including major construction equipment and vehicle manufacturers, Bremerhaven-based Boatsman Logistic was given a special role: to demonstrate live how a vehicle is professionally prepared and packaged for air freight. This task was a testament to the company's specialized expertise in handling high-value vehicles.

Founded in 2017, Boatsman Logistic began in a single shipping container office and has since grown into a global vehicle logistics provider. The company has built a strong reputation for shipping custom builds, classic, and luxury vehicles to destinations around the world, from Australia to Madagascar, with meticulous care. “If the customer requests it, we can deliver right to their doorstep,” company owner Marek Endter and his colleague Dennis Lühr report.
Initially, the company’s focus was on transporting vehicles in containers or via RoRo shipping across the seas, for which Boatsman Logistic’s headquarters in Bremerhaven have been ideal. However, with increasing customer demand for faster transport solutions, the volume of shipments handled by air freight via Leipzig or Frankfurt has steadily grown. Boatsman Logistic managed to respond flexibly, and now the company actively operates in the air freight sector. Additionally, the company has grown beyond being solely a service provider, expanding its capabilities to include in-house solutions. Today, the Boatsman Logistic team handles container packing on the company’s own premises.

Thirty-two-year-old entrepreneur Endter maintains a large facility near the harbor in Bremerhaven. The company can store up to 70 vehicles at a time, including high-profile models such as a bulletproof Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. The facility also houses Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and off-road Mercedes G-Classes that are transported to customers regularly. All stored vehicles are meticulously polished to perfection.
Boatsman Logistic has also transported unique, rare collector's items. The list includes the Ford Mustang once driven by rally legend Ken Block, a convertible once used by U.S. President John F. Kennedy, and Carroll Shelby’s Toyota 2000 GT. Endter also recalls a silver classic Mercedes SLR Gullwing. Such rare and valuable vehicles require the utmost care. The Boatsman team does everything possible to ensure safe transport—applying protective film and securing the cars with straps and wooden blocks inside the container. On average, the company handles 50 to 75 vehicles per month.
Despite its growing international presence, Endter remains committed to Bremerhaven. A native of the northern German city, he feels right at home on Senator-Borttscheller-Straße and at the company’s second location in Überseehafen. We at Motion Logistics Network are happy to witness this success story and the continuous growth of a member company.
